Charity support took pole when CanTeen and BoysTown sped into Lakeside Raceway for an adrenalin-charged day with Jonny Reid and the Simjen Racing team.

Helping to brighten the day for a selection of members from charity organisations CanTeen and BoysTown, Jonny Reid and the Simjen Racing team took over Lakeside Raceway for an electrifying day of speed, fun and friendship.

As part of Simjen’s ongoing philanthropic efforts supporting a host of fantastic charities, CEO Simon James and Carrera Cup race star Reid were on hand to treat some fortunate charity members to an exhilarating session of hot laps in the lightning quick Simjen Silver Bullet race car.

With a gorgeous sunny day greeting all participants, the youngsters were suited up in protective clothing and helmets before enjoying the ride of their life, Reid putting the pedal to the floor for a session of laps that had the gang holding on tight. Autographs, lunch and the chance to chat with Reid rounded out the action-packed day, before everyone left in style sporting a flash Simjen Racing team T-shirt to mark the occasion.
